imageMULTAN: General Manager of Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) Multan, Hanif Ramay said low gas pressure complaints were being addressed on priority basis.

He said that they were fully implementing on gas load-management plan so that the supply could be provided to commercial and domestic consumers during food cooking timings properly.

He said demand and supply difference raised as usage of sui-gas was also increased in winter season. He said that gas demand of Multan region was 2.5 billion cubic feet daily while they were being supplied 1.2 billion cubic feet gas daily.

He said that they were trying their level best to address the low gas pressure complaints.

Talking to APP here on Wednesday, the GM said that they were providing gas supply to domestic and commercial consumers only in specific timing from 6 am to 9 am and 5 pm to 8 pm daily, while industrial and CNG sectors were already closed.

Ramay said Complaint Cell was working properly to address the low gas pressure complaints adding that he was also personally resolving the complaints.

He said that the field teams were also raiding against the people involved in using illegal tactics for getting gas supply and imposing heavy fines to them.
