imageMULTAN: Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited Multan region General Manager Muhammad Hanif Ramay said providing gas supply to domestic consumers was a top priority.

He said sui gas loadsheding under the load management plan was being made from 9 pm to 6 am daily across the region while gas supply was being provided to domestic and commercial consumers in day time with full pressure.

Talking to APP here on Friday, Hanif Ramay said the demand of sui-gas was 70 million cubic feet per day while same supply was being provided to them till now. He however, maintained that the demand of gas was increasing day by day due to the winter.

He said low gas pressure complaints were reported from congested areas which were also being addressed at the earliest. Hanif said field teams were visiting low gas pressure areas and trying to resolve complaints.

He said the task force of the department was also conducting raids to control illegal use of gas and also disconnecting metres for using unfair means to get gas.

He said there were about 4,30,000 sui-gas consumers across the region while Multan, Bhakar, Layyah, Muzaffargarh, DG Khan, Vehari, Burewala, Khanewal and two tehsils of Lodhran were in the region.
