KARACHI: Allied Bank of Pakistan (ABL) has posted a higher profit after tax of Rs 8.283 billion for the year ending December 31, 2010 and declared a 10 % bonus share and 20 % final cash dividend.
According to financial results of the bank despatched to Karachi Stock Exchange on Friday, the pre-tax profit surged to Rs 12.415 billion for the period against Rs 10.571 billion in 2009.
The earning per share also improved to Rs 10.59 during the period under review compared to Rs 9.14 in 2009.
