Shipping activity at Port Qasim
KARACHI: One ship arrived at Port on Saturday, August 27 carrying palm oil at LCT.
Berth occupancy was maintained at 28 percent at the Port on Sunday where a total of four ships namely M.V Saphir-II, M.V Tycon-II, M.V Ioanthi and M.T MY Kines are currently occupying berths to load/offload cement, Palm oil, Fertilizer during last 24 hours.
Cargo handling operations were carried out smoothly at the Port where a cargo volume 11012 tonnes comprising 8571 tonnes imports and 2441 tonnes exports was handled at Port during last 24 hours.
M.V. Afamia Sailed on Saturday morning and M.T Grace sailed in Saturday evening.
M.V Maersk Georgia, M.V MSC Roberta (containers) at QICT expected to take berth on Sunday, August 28.
