Gas field workers stage protest

Ubauro: A large number of OGDC Qadirpur gas field workers held a protest at Ghotki against non-payment of workers’ profit funds.

The workers led by Zahid Buutto staged sit-in in front of the factory gate, blocking traffic. They demanded immediate payment of 5pc workers’ profit fund without more delay.

They said all other industrial organizations were giving their workers this fund except OGDC Qadirpur gas field management. Routine work at the factory was affected due to the protest of workers.
