Monsoon rains to continue next two days

weatherISLAMABAD: Pakistan Meterological Department(PMD) forecast more rains in most parts of the country for another 2-3 days.

According to PMD more rains are expected in Punjab, Sindh, Khyber- Pakhtunkhwa and north eastern Balochistan during next 24 hours, reported a private news channel.

Isolated rains was recorded in Karachi, Hyderabad, Bahawalpur, Bannu, Qalat and with thunderstorm in Malakand.

More monsoon rains with isolated heavy falls are expected in lower Sindh (Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas divisions) , upper Punjab (Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore divisions) and Kashmir.

Heavy falls may cause urban/flash flooding in the said areas during the period.
