BEIJING: China's total power consumption for the first seven months of this year rose 12.2 percent from a year earlier to 2.69 trillion kilowatt-hours, state news agency Xinhua reported on Sunday, citing the country's energy administrator.
In July alone, power consumption rose 11.8 percent from a year earlier to 434.9 billion kwh, Xinhua said.
