Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has been named ‘Timeless Fashion Icon’ at Filmfare Glamour Style and Fashion Awards. Bachchan is widely regarded as one of the greatest and most influential actors in the history of Indian Cinema. Bachchan has won many awards in his Bollywood career.
According to Indian media reports, the 72-year-old Star said, “Strange are the ways of life. From ‘time’ to ‘timeless’. Time passed in one. Timeless recognition in another! Dear Lord...what prisms you put us through”.
“An evening of warm embrace…., Aditi Rao Hydari, Tabu, Preity Zinta, Ileana de Cruz, Karan Johar, Yuvraj Singh, Akshay, Alia, Siddharth, Kareena, Shruti, Nargis Fakri… and a host of others. The list and its respect is endless...it makes one so humble and honoured when the generation next gives its affection and love the way it does (sic),” he added.
Bachchan, 72, who is known for his impeccable fashion sense, took to Twitter to inform about the same. “At night… Fashion and glamour and style takes over and decorates you with Timeless Fashion Icon Award! Time to Timeless!”. He tweeted.
Meanwhile, after garnering plaudits for his critically acclaimed performance in ‘Shamitabh’, Amitabh is prepping up to regale cinema lovers with ’Piku and ‘Wazir’ this year.
