MIRPURKHAS: Secretary District Regional Transport Authority Mirpurkhas, Pervaiz Hassan Qureshi has announced that after significant decrease in petroleum prices, fare for transport plying on various routes from Mirpurkhas has been decreased.
In a statement issued here on Wednesday, he informed that new fare for non air conditioned vehicles from Mirpurkhas to Karachi was fixed at Rs. 195.16 and for air conditioned vehicles the fare would be charged Rs. 333.2.
Fare of non air conditioned vehicle for Mithi was set Rs. 118 and of air conditioned vehicle Rs. 201.60; fare for Umerkot of non air conditioned and air conditioned vehicles was fixed at Rs. 61.5 and 105 respectively while air conditioned vehicles destined for Hyderabad would charge Rs. 95.2, the press statement said.
He told that non air conditioned and air conditioned vehicle plying on the Mirpurkhas - Sanghar route would charge passengers Rs. 55.76 and 95.2 respectively, for Tando Jam Rs. 41.82 and 71.4, for Khipro Rs. 49.82 and 84, for Digri Rs. 39.36 and 67.2, for Tando Allahyar Rs.27.6 and 46.2 while for Mir Wah fare would be Rs. 22.96 and 39.2 respectively.
He further told that fares of transport on intra-city routes and destined for rural areas were also been decreased accordingly.
