FAISALABAD: Four persons including a woman were killed while four others sustained serious injuries in different incidents in and around here.
According to police, two rival groups exchanged indiscriminate firing in Chak No.267-RB over a minor dispute of children. As a result, Mian Sajjad and Shehbaz received serious bullet injuries and died on the spot while Mian Ashfaq was shifted to hospital in a critical condition.
In another incident, Muhammad Mushtaq gunned down his married sister Nabeela (25) over a minor domestic dispute in Mohallah Yousuf Abad, the area of Madina Town police station.
Moreover, Falak Sher of Kot Fazil expired due to cardiac arrest while traveling in the area of Sitiana police station.
Meanwhile, Safdar Ali, Tariq Ali and Mushtaq Ahmad received serious bullet injuries when two rival parties exchanged firing in Bawa Chak Sargodha Road to avenge an old enmity. Police registered separate cases and started investigation.
