According to Indian Media reports Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt may star opposite Shahid Kapoor in Vikas Bahl’s upcoming film ‘Shaandar’.
Bhatt, who was highly appreciated for her performance in Imtiaz Ali’s ‘Highway’, had earlier expressed desire to be a part of the project
Now the Times of India reveal Bahl, who is riding high after the success of his latest film ‘Queen’, has finalized Bhatt as the female lead for his next directorial venture.
However, an official announcement is still awaited.
Meanwhile, Bhatt will be seen alongside Arjun Kapoor in upcoming romantic drama '2 States'.
The film is directed by Abhishek Verman and is based on Chetan Bhagat’s novel of the same name.
It is slated to release on April 18th, 2014.
