KARACHI: Five ships arrived at port to load/offload containers at QICT palm oil at LCT, furnace oil at FOTCO, chemical at EVTL on Friday.
Berth occupancy was maintained at 64 percent at the port on Friday where a nine ships namely M.V KPS-I Alican Bey - Powership, M.V MSC Levina, M.V Kerstin-S, M.V Er-Denmark, M.T Bunga Allium, M.T Arietis, M.T Intrapid Republic, M.V Inlaco Brave, M.V Gemini Pioneer are currently occupying berths to load/offload, containers, palm oil, furnace oil, MEG, paraxylene, wheat, fertilizer.
Cargo handling operations were carried out smoothly at the port where a cargo volume 72829 tonnes comprising 63829 tonnes import, 9000 tonnes export and (1924) Tues was handled at the pot during last 24 hours.
M.V Kerstin-S sailed on Friday afternoon. M.T Intrapid Republic, M.V Er-Denmark sailed on Saturday morning.
M.V MSC Anahta at QICT, M.T Chemroad Lily at EVTL arrival on Saturday.
