KARACHI: One ship arrived at the Port to offload furnace oil at FOTCO on October 19, 2013, port sources said here Sunday.Berth occupancy was maintained at 50% at the port on Saturday where a total of seven ships namely M.V KPS-I Alican Bey - Powership, M.T Gulf Oasis, M.T Chemroad Sun, M.T Quetta, M.T Norgas Chellenger, M.V Lady Amna, M.V ILC Friendship are currently occupying berths to load/ offload, chemical, palm oil, furnace oil, fertiliser, wheat.
Cargo handling operations were carried out smoothly at the port where a cargo volume 55412 tonnes comprising 54882 tonnes import, 530 tonnes export was handled at the port during the last 24 hours.
M.T Norgas Challenger sailed on Saturday afternoon. M.T Chemroad Sun sailed on Sunday morning.
M.T Bunga Alamanda at MW - 1, M.T Success Marlina 33 at LCT, M.V Thorharmony at FAP arrived on October 20, 2013, port sources further said.
