KARACHI: Two ships arrived at port to load/offload containers at QICT, chemical at EVTL, on 11th October, 2013.
Berth occupancy was maintained at 85% at the port on Friday where a total of eleven ships namely M.V KPS-I Alican Bey - Powership, M.V Dong Hai Jun 7001 - (Dredger), M.T Gulf Oasis, M.V Ionic spirit, M.V MSC Clementina, M.T Semua Perdana, M.T Pacific Sun, M.V Capital, M.V Lady Amna, M.T Karachi, M.T Global Peace are currently berths to load/offload, containers, cement, palm oil, fertilizer, chemical.
Cargo handling operations were carried out smoothly at the port where a cargo volume 61581 tonnes comprising 46768 tonnes import, 14813 tonnes export and (1323) Tues was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
M. T Global Peace, sailed on Friday afternoon, M.V Capital, M.V MSC Clementina, M.T Karachi, M.V Ionic Spirit sailed on Saturday morning.
M.V Contila Pislazuli at FAP, M.T Genuine Hercules at LCT, M.V MSC Kerry at QICT arrival on 12th October, 2013 as per arrival schedule.
