KARACHI: Three ships carrying containers and diesel oil were berthed at Qasim International Containers Terminal and FOTCO Terminal on Thursday, September 5.
Meanwhile, one more ship carrying containers also arrived at outer anchorage of Port Qasim during last 24 hours.
Berth occupancy was 45 percent at the Port on Friday where a total five ships namely Mare Atlanticum, M.V Michaelas, Diamond Star, Malakand and Al Salam II are currently occupying berths to load/offload containers, cement, rape seed and diesel oil respectively during last 24 hours.
A cargo volume of 62243 tonnes comprising 45525 tonnes imports and 20718 tonnes exports inclusive of containerized cargo carried in 1542 containers (TEUs) was handled at the Port during last 24 hours.
