Shipping activity at Port Qasim

KARACHI: One ship carrying containers was berthed at Qasim International Containers Terminal on Sunday, 21st July. Meanwhile two more ships carrying edible oil and containers also arrived at outer anchorage of Port Qasim during last 24 hours.

Berth occupancy was 25% at the Port on Monday where a total three ships namely Maersk Mamphis, out Rivaling and M.T Semua Perkasa are currently occupying berths to load/offload containers, iron ore and edible oil respectively during last 24 hours.

A cargo volume of 15409 tonnes comprising 8206 tonnes imports and 7203 tonnes exports inclusive of containerized cargo carried in 529 containers (TEUs) was handled at the Port during last 24 hours.
