Shipping activity at Port Qasim

KARACHI: Two ships carrying containers and diesel oil, were berthed at Qasim International Containers Terminal and FOTCO Terminal on Thursday, 18th July.

Meanwhile two more ships carrying edible oil also arrived at outer anchorage of Port Qasim during last 24 hours.

Berth occupancy was 35 percent at the Port on Friday where a total four ships namely Hamminia Pacificum, Al- Soor-II, out Rivaling and M.T Argent Cosmos are currently occupying berths to load/offload containers, diesel oil, iron ore and edible oil respectively during last 24 hours.

A cargo volume of 76645 tonnes comprising 60916 tonnes imports and 15729 tonnes exports inclusive of containerized cargo carried in 1227 containers (TEUs) was handled at the Port during last 24 hours.
