TORONTO: Toronto's main stock index was little changed in early dealings on Wednesday as weaker financial and base-metal shares offset a rise in gold miners.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index opened up 3.66 points to 13,912.76 and then turned negative shortly after the open.
