FAISALABAD: Advisor to the Prime Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources Dr Asim Husain on Saturay said that the government had set its priority to provide gas supply to the people round- the-clock and all possible steps were being taken to overcome the energy crisis in the country.
Addressing a public gathering at Jaranwala after inaugurating a gas project in NA-74 here, Dr Asim he said the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) had rendered great sacrifices for democracy and democratic institutions in the country.
He said the PPP government had initiated a number of development projects to improve lives of the people by providing them all basic amenities at their doorsteps.
He said due to the visionary and dynamic leadership of President Asif Ali Zardari, the PPP government had succeeded in solving a number of problems.
The Advisor said the industrial sector was playing a pivotal role in the national economy and the government was sincere to resolve its all problems on top priority.
He said the PPP would clean sweep the next general elections due to its people-friendly policies.
