ISLAMABAD: Chairman Textile city Dr. Mirza Ikhtiar Baig has appreciated Minister of state for finance Saleem Mandviwalla's efforts for the promotion and development of Pakistan Textile City Project which has a vital importance for the growth of value added textile sector in the country.
Dr. Baig also requested Saleem Mandviwalla to authorize to arrange payment to TDAP the claims of the exporters including those of export marketing offices abroad.
In a statement Dr.Baig said that on his request as Chairman Pakistan Textile City, the Minister of State for Finance Saleem Mandviwalla called an urgent meeting to remove the obstacles and financial constraint for the revival of Pakistan Textile City project.
The meeting will be attended by Minister for Textile Makhdoom Shahabuddin, Minister of State for Finance Saleem Mandviwalla, Dr. Mirza Ikhtiar Baig, Secretary Water & Power Nargis Sethi, Secretary Finance Abdul Wajid Rana, Secretary Textile Shahid Rashid and CEO Pakistan Textile City Zaheer Hussain.
Dr. Baig on the occasion appreciated Saleem Mandviwalla's efforts and concerns about Pakistan Textile City Project which has a vital importance for the growth of value added textile sector in the country.
