 ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and India will resume full spectrum dialogue with the first meeting between the Interior Secretaries of the two countries from March 27 in New Delhi.

Foreign Office Spokesperson Tehmina Janjua in her maiden press briefing here at Foreign Office on Thursday said that following agreement to resume full spectrum dialogue between Pakistan and India, first meeting under the resumed process will be held on 27th and 28th of this month in New Delhi between the Interior Secretaries of the two countries.

She said the Interior Secretaries would discuss counter terrorism, narcotics control and humanitarian issues.

Replying to a question, she said, Pakistan has received a communication from India yesterday regarding the permission of visit of Pakistan's Commission to India to probe Ajmal Kasab and Indian desire to come to Pakistan to question some of the culprits involved in 26/11 incident.

She said the communication has been sent to Ministry of Interior as it is related to them for taking final decision.

Spokesperson said Tajik President Emomali Ramanov would pay a state visit to Pakistan from 7th to 11th of this month at the invitation of President Asif Ali Zardari.

National Security Advisor of United Kingdom along with Chief of Defence would pay a visit to Pakistan on 7th and 8th of this month to exchange views on regional security situation.

The spokesman said Special US Envoy for Afghanistan and Pakistan Mark Grossman would also visit Pakistan on 6th and 7th of this month to hold meetings with Pakistani leadership.

She said a meeting in connection with strategic dialogue between Pakistan and Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) will be held in Dubai on March 8 for enhancing cooperation in trade and business relations of Pakistan with GCC.

Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Hina Rabbani Khar has left to lead Pakistan in the meeting of contact group of OIC being held in Jeddah from today.

Replying to a question she said Pakistan has always demanded of the United States to repatriate Dr. Aafia Siddiqui as per wishes of Pakistani people and dictates of law and justice.
