Govt allocates Rs10386.257mn for housing sector
ISLAMABAD: The government has allocated an amount of Rs. 10386.257 million for completion of 34 on-going and eight new projects of Housing and Works Division under Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) for fiscal year 2017-18.
According to the budgetary document released on Friday, out of total amount, Rs. 10164.682 million has been allocated for on-going projects while Rs. 221.575 million has been earmarked for new projects.
An amount of Rs. 4200 million has been allocated for dualization and improvement of Mandra-Chakwal road project (64KM) while Rs. 3300 million has been allocated for dualization and improvement of Sohawa-Chakwal road project (66.405 KM).
Similarly, an amount of Rs. 500 million has been allocated for Mosa Khail Tonsa road (35 KM) strength road Zhob while Rs. 342.115 million has been earmarked for widening and improvement of road from Ghumanwala to Baigpur in NA-100, District Gujranwala (34.48 KM).
An amount of Rs. 200 million has been allocated for construction of new Secretariat blocks Constitution Avenue, Islamabad while Rs. 200 million has been earmarked for development schemes in District Shangla.
