LARKANA: The three-day anti-polio drive launched to administer polio drops to children, under age of five years, successfully concluded here on Wednesday, health officials said Friday.
The Executive District Officer (Health) Larkana, Dr. Khalilullah Shaikh told APP on Friday, that 718 mobile teams were engaged to visit houses and administer polio drops to the targeted children.
He said during the campaign more than 295945 children were given anti-polio drops.
EDO Health said that due to coordinated efforts polio cases have declined in the country.
Regarding the contribution of health officials in the districts he said that they were doing a great job. He said people of the district cooperated with the Health officials.
