LAHORE: Gas should be supplied to CNG stations during night from 9:00 pm to 6:00 am when a majority of domestic consumers complete cooking chores and factories close their work.
In a press statement issued here on Saturday, Samiullah Khan Durrani member finance committee PPP Punjab said that closure of CNG stations had affected the mobility of people and also badly affected the economic activities.
Use of domestically produced fuel like natural gas and CNG have saved billions of dollars to the national exchequer, he said.
The PPP leader said that authorities of SNGPL would consider the proposal to mitigate the woes of CNG consumers and CNG dealers.
He suggested that all out efforts should be made to restore gas supply to CNG stations in the larger interest of the economy.
