soy-beanBUENOS AIRES: Argentina's closing soy prices and trends on Wednesday:

* Soy prices closed at between 1,975 pesos and 1,200 pesos per tonne ($414/$419), lifted slightly higher from Tuesday's range of 1,975 to 1,990 pesos by steady demand, traders said.

* Trade was a light 4,000 tonnes, unchanged form Tuesday.

* Soybean futures on the Chicago Board of Trade fell 0.5 percent on long liquidation two days ahead of a monthly report in which the US Department of Agriculture is expected to raise its estimate of the US soybean harvest, traders said.

* In Rosario, soy for delivery in May 2013, quoted in US dollars, ended flat again at $300 per tonne.
