The Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) said in a statement on Thursday that the decision came after an evaluation of all foreign pilots in Malaysia.
The regulator told Reuters that there are less than 20 Pakistani pilots in the country.
“We have to remind ourselves that this is a public health crisis, and only on a secondary basis then it becomes an economic crisis," said Baqir.
Reza informed that they have provided $7 billion in terms of liquidity support to households as well as businesses i.e. about 2.5 percent of Pakistan GDP.
According to the General Civil Aviation Authority, the suspension will remain in place until Pakistan sets up a coronavirus testing system for passengers. The GCCA was of the view that the move has been taken to ensure the safety of passengers.
“Power shortages in Pakistan tend to be due to grid issues rather than a lack of generation capacity,” said Simon Nicholas, energy finance analyst at the Institute for Energy Economics and Financial Analysis (IEEFA).
Musa Khan and Rohail Nazir to also depart with the side; left-arm spinner Zafar Gohar to join from England to assist the side in pre-series preparations.
