KARACHI: Three ships carrying containers and chemical were berthed at Qasim International Containers Terminal and Engro Vopak Terminal on Tuesday, 16th July.
Meanwhile two more ships carrying containers and edible oil also arrived at outer anchorage of Port Qasim during last 24 hours.
Berth occupancy was 55 percent at the Port on Wednesday where a total six ships namely AL Abdali, Sealand New York, Nysted Maersk, Stolt Ngami, Out Rlvaling and M.T Lahore are currently occupying berths to load/offload containers, chemical, iron ore and furnace oil respectively during last 24 hours.
A cargo volume of 108292 tonnes comprising 85381 tonnes imports and 22911 tonnes exports inclusive of containerized cargo carried in 2572 containers (TEUs) was handled at the Port during last 24 hours.
