ISLAMABAD: Dr Sohail Mehmood, an analyst, has said that cooperation between Pakistan and Turkey will benefit both the countries, particularly in the feilds of education and technology.
Talking to PTV, Dr Mehmood said that Turkey is the most reliable partner of Pakistan among the European countries.
Referring to the ongoing visit of Turkish Prime Minister , he hoped that five memorandums of undrestanding , including economic, agriculture and education would be signed between the two countries.
He said whenever Pakistan needed the assistance whether at the time of a natural catastrophe or on any international issue, Turkey always stood by Pakistan.
He added that in the ongoing NATO summit in Chicago, Turkey, being the member of NATO, would support Pakistan's stance over Afghan issue.
Turkish media can be a gateway for Pakistan to improve its image in Europe and other western countries, he added.
He said that both the countries should increase their cooperation in the fields of education, technology and power generation.
