PESHAWAR: Provincial General Secretary Awami National Party (ANP) and Parliamentary leader in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, Sardar Hussain Babak said on Monday that China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) was imperative for economic development of Pakhtoons.
Addressing the book launching ceremony of eminent Pashto poet, Atllas Khan Atllas, the ANP leader said this gigantic project would usher a new era of progress and prosperity in the province.
Eminent Pashto poets and literary personalities were also present on the occasion. He said political cohesion was required for successful execution of CPEC.
Congratulating Atllas Khan over his contribution for promotion of Pashto literature, Babak said poets had effectively played their role in awakening of Pakhtoons about their rights through their poetry and art work.
He urged poets to use their energies for effective mobilization of youth for promotion of education and service to the country.
