imageLARKANA: Provincial Secretary Education and Literacy Department Dr Fazalullah Pechuho on Friday evening said that the teachers organisations should play their role for bringing reforms and imparting quality education.

This he said while talking to mediamen at Larkana Press Club.

Dr Pechuho said that keeping in view public concerns after the Peshawar carnage, the concerned department would implement the standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the security of schoolchildren.

He said "Without help from the parents and schools administration, it would be impossible to manage the security of all the schools."

The Secretary education agreed that there were resource constraints when it came to security arrangements as most schools in rural Sindh did not have boundary walls. He said CCTV and boundary walls will be ensured at all government and private schools for security and avoidance of such incidents.

Dr Fazalullah Pechuho informed that high tech monitoring system will be established in five districts of Sindh including Larkana, Shaheed Benazirabad, Sukkur and others to address the issues relating to education. Besides, Call Centers are being set up in five districts of Sindh to redress and monitor the complaints.
