LONDON: Europe's main stock markets fell in opening deals on Monday, with London's FTSE 100 index of top shares down 0.30 percent at 5,966.71 points.
Frankfurt's DAX 30 slid 0.40 percent higher to 6,920.36 points and the Paris CAC 40 sank 0.39 percent to stand at 3,850.27.
