BANGKOK: Shares in Thailand's Tipco Asphalt Pcl rose 4 percent on Wednesday on expectation that the asphalt maker would benefit from floods in the country's southern provinces.
At 0313 GMT, the stock was up 3.6 percent at 58.25 baht, while the broader index was 0.75 percent higher.
Brokers said the company was like to get more jobs because some roads damaged by the floods would need to be reconstructed.
