LONDON: Europe's main stock markets closed firmer on Wednesday, with London's FTSE 100 index of leading shares up 0.58 percent at 5,795.88 points.
In Paris, the CAC 40 gained 0.54 percent to 3,913.73 points and in Frankfurt the DAX added 0.35 percent to 6,804.45 points.
