Three killed, 14 injured in rocket attacks

QUETTA: Three persons have been killed and 14 others injured when unknown men fired three rockets at the city on Wednesday evening.

"Unidentified armed men fired three rockets in three different areas of the provincial capital," police sources said adding that as a result of the attacks, three people had been killed and 14 others wounded.

The rockets landed in the areas including Sariab Phatak, Chaman Phatak and Khaliqabad.

The injured have been shifted to the hospitals.

Heavy contingent of security forces and police reached the affected places soon after the incident and cordoned off the entire area and launched search operation to arrest the assailants.
