MUMBAI: Indian shares provisionally closed 0.1 percent lower in a choppy session on Monday, as investors were cautious and eyed further developments over the turmoil in Libya and firmer oil prices.
The 30-share BSE index provisionally ended down 0.14 percent or 24.24 points at 17,854.57 points with 17 components losing.
The 50-share NSE index provisionally closed down 0.1 percent at 5,369.85 points.
