BAGHDAD: Iraq's core annual inflation rose to 5.5 percent in February versus 5.3 percent in January, driven by increases in the cost of power, rental and housing, a central bank official said on Sunday.
"Febraury's year on year core inflation was 5.5 percent,
" Mudher Kasim, a senior advisor at the central bank, told Reuters.
"The big source of the increase came from electricity, housing and rent.
