CAIRO: Egypt's central bank said it sold 5 billion Egyptian pounds ($843 million) in domestic treasury bills on Sunday, the same amount it was seeking (CBEY).
The bank sold 1.5 billion pounds of 91-day T-bills at an average yield of 11.349 percent, down from 11.465 percent at last week's auction.
The bank also sold 3.5 billion pounds of 273-day T-bills at an average yield of 12.257 percent, up from 12.162 percent at last issue on March 1.
