KARACHI: Three ships carrying containers and diesel oil were allotted berths on Qasim International Containers Terminal and FOTCO Terminal during last 24 hours, a PQA statement issueed here Thursday said.
Meanwhile six more ships scheduled to load/offload containers and edible oil are also arrived at outer anchorage of Port Qasim during last 24 hours.
Berth occupancy was 75% at the Port on Thursday where total number of eight ships namely Al Sabahia, CGM Rossini, Ananya Naree, AMS Pegauses II, Shipphire II, Ocean Drover, Ocean Mercury and Cape Chem Road Vega are currently occupying berths to load/offload containers, corn, cement, wheat, live stock, diesel oil and edible oil respectively during last 24 hours.
A cargo Volume of 65,450 tonnes comprising 52,287 tonnes imports and 13,163 tonnes exports inclusive of containerized cargo carried in 1,200 containers (Boxes) were handled at the Port Qasim during last 24 hours.
