GAZA CITY: An Israeli air strike Saturday on the neighbourhood of Zeitoun, on Gaza City's outskirts, wounded five people, a Palestinian emergency services official said.

Spokesman Adham Abu Selmiya said a child was one of those hurt in the strike, which came as Israel reported some 50 mortar shells had been fired from the Gaza Strip into its territory, causing minor damage.
