Shipping activity at Port Qasim

KARACHI: Two ships arrived at Port Qasim to load cement & corn at MW-1 & FAP on 25th August, 2012.

Berth occupancy was maintained at 42% at the Port on Saturday where a total of eight ships namely M.V Hector, M.V Amspegasus III, M.T Olympic Spirit, M.V Out Rivaling-2, M.V Geniu Mariner, SFL Kent are currently occupying berths to load/offload cement, rice, corn, wheat, furnace oil was handled at Port last 24 hours.

Cargo handling operations were carried out smoothly at the Port where a cargo volume 45090 tonnes comprising 37614 tonnes import 7476 tonnes export 666 (Tues) was handled at the Port during last 24 hours.

M.V Genius Mariner sailed on Saturday morning.
