PM's relief package welcomed

A former vice president of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Tariq Halim, and a former president of the Khairpur Chamber of Commerce, Shabnam Zafar, have welcomed Prime Minister Imran Khan's relief package of Rs880 billion announced for various sectors to deal with the situation created by the coronavirus.
They also hailed the decision of the State Bank of Pakistan to reduce the interest rates. Tariq Halim said that the steps the government had been taking were impressive.
He said that the entire nation was united in the fight against the coronavirus. He said that the federal government as well as the provincial governments had taken valuable steps to stop the spread of the coronavirus.
Shabnam Zafar said that the steps taken by Prime Minister Imran Khan and the chief ministers of all the four provinces to get rid of the coronavirus were commendable.
