PMEX daily trading report

On Wednesday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 3,844.

The traded value of metals, energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 5.805 billion and the number of lots traded was 8,596.

Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 2.210 billion, followed by NSDQ100 PKR 1.216 billion, currencies through COTS PKR 768.878 million, crude oil PKR 563.597 million, DJ PKR 491.540 million, platinum PKR 192.920 million, silver PKR 140.624 million, SP500 PKR 111.914 million, Brent crude oil PKR 76.796 million, copper PKR 18.212 million and natural gas PKR 13.748 million.

In agriculture commodities 2 lots of wheat amounting to PKR 8.202 million and 2 lots of cotton amounting to PKR 0.975 million were traded.
