  • Indonesia’s largest carrier wants to start flight operations between Pakistan and Indonesia.

Direct flight operations will be launched between Kyrgyzstan and Pakistan, said Minister for Aviation Ghulam Sarwar Khan.

The minister informed during a meeting with Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan Eric Beishemhiev. Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan have brotherly relations, said Sarwar. These relations are established due to respect and trust in each other.

Kyrgyzstan also believes in expanding its links with Pakistan, expressed the envoy. Both countries should start a weekly flight, added the Kyrgyzstan ambassador. “Aviation division to consider launching flight operations between the two countries under Fifth Right of Freedom,” said Sarwar.

It is important to know that the Air Services Agreement between Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan was signed in 1993.

Furthermore, talks were also held between Pakistan and Indonesia over increasing cooperation in aviation sector between the two countries.

Sarwar said that Lion Air, Indonesia’s largest carrier wants to start flight operations between Pakistan and Indonesia.

“Indonesia and Pakistan have a lot of potential for further strengthening the aviation sector,” said Sarwar during his meeting with the Ambassador of Indonesia. Iwan Suyudhie Amri.

There will be more flight operations between the two countries in the future, said Sarwar. It is pertinent to inform that an Air Services Agreement was signed between Pakistan and Indonesia in 1966.
