Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rashid Ahmad on Monday announced 'Free Track Policy' for the private clients who could use the railway track for trains. "The move would help the PR to enhance its earnings besides boosting the economy of the country," Rashid said while talking to the media at his camp office here.

As per the new policy, Railway Minister said the private freight trains would only be charged with the track fee that would be fixed as par the international market rates.

"The move would economically benefit Pakistan Railways to a great extent," he said. He added that private tenders would also be floated for Marshalling yard.

He said that the CPEC-based ML-1 project and newly devised policy will spawn a new era to this colonial set-up of Pakistan Railways.

Rashid said that the 'globally-condemned' Indian Nationality Bill was victory of Two-Nations Theory and Jinnah's envisaged separate state for the Muslims of sub-continent.

"India's anti-Muslim bill highlights the fascist approach of Modi much alike that of Hitler and Mussolini," said Rashid.

While the federal minister said that 16 December was a sad day in the history of Pakistan as unforgettable debacles with indelible impression had taken place on this day.

"Zardari's bail is a good omen but Bilawal's future is linked with plea bargain with NAB," said the railways minister who believed the PPP's young leader had no future otherwise.

He also hinted about large sums of recovered money through NAB in government treasury by March next year. The minister said that it's ironic that political leaders today were criticising their nurturing places.

The minister expected the resolution of appointment in election commission very soon and witnessing good news by the nation on the subject.
