KARACHI: The National Transport Ittehad, Sindh, has decided to continue the strike on March 4. This was announced by Chairman of National Transport Ittehad, Sindh, Saleem Bangash, in a subsequent statement issued later Thursday evening.
In an earlier statement here on Thursday, he had said that the strike for remaining two days, that is, March 4 and 5 has been put off in the wake of assurance by Sindh Transport Minister, Akhtar Hussain Jadoon, regarding the resolution of genuine problems of the transporters.
He had earlier also stated said that transporters would hold negotiations with the Minister on March 4.
Meanwhile, in another statement issued later Thursday evening, the leaders of the National Transport Ittehad, Sindh, said that they would continue the strike on March 4.
They also called for effecting decrease in the prices of diesel and petrol.
