President and CEO national flag carrier Pakistan International Airline (PIA), Air Marshal Arshad Malik has said that adequate efforts were being made for tracking the national airline on modern lines on top priority basis.
Addressing the members of Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) here Monday he said that the step had been taken to enable the airline to cope with the fast changing global trends as well as to fulfill the travelers' requirements. Special attention had been accorded on replacing the old planes and gradually more Aircrafts would be inducted in the fleet he said.
The CEO PIA further added that special step had also been taken for converting the airline into a profitably organization for the larger national interests. Our special focus is on generating revenue through cargo and increase of passengers he said.
He assured the SCCI members that their demands would be considered on top priority basis. Earlier the SCCI president Muhammed Ashraf Malik presented the address of welcome.
