BRAZIL: Brazilian stocks are edging up early on Wednesday, the same day the country's central bank is expected to raise its benchmark interest rate to 11.75 percent from 11.25 percent. Brazil's benchmark Bovespa stock index is up 0.11 percent to 66,316.73 shortly after opening.
