  • DG ISPR said picture of the wreckage of helicopter presents a different story.
  • Indian COAS repeatedly provoking war through irresponsible statements endangering regional peace for electioneering of political masters, DG ISPR said.

Director General Inter-Services Public Relations ( DG ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor has said that Indian Army Chief Bipin Rawat is repeatedly provoking war with his statements and has turned his army into a rogue force.

The DG ISPR took to the official Twitter handle and wrote that Rawat's statements, 'coupled with blood of innocents on hands, losses to Indian forces at the hands of Pakistan Armed Forces, helicopter crashes due to so called technical fault-cum-fratricide' all to become the Indian Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS) is actually at the cost of professional military ethos.

In another tweet the DG ISPR added that the wreckage of the recent helicoptor crash carrying Northern Army Commander Lieutenant General Ranbir Sing presents another story. "Indian Army silent on its helicopter -crash with senior leadership onboard. No visibility of injured ones. Wreckage presents different story. Technical fault still or an afterthought likely for a fratricide again. PS: Best wishes for recovery of those reported injured, as a soldier," he tweeted.

The CDS is a proposed position for the combined head of the Indian army, Indian air force and Indian navy. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his independence day speech announced the creation of the post. General Ranbir Sing who was onboard the helicopter which crashed recently, is a rival of the army chief for the position of the new post.

"Indian COAS repeatedly provoking war through irresponsible statements endangering regional peace for electioneering of political masters. From fake surgical strike todate his only success has been to turn Indian Army into a rogue force and getting them killed," the Pakistan Army's media wing spokesperson added.
