Government given three days to dismiss DG FIA: CJ

ISLAMABAD: The Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry has directed the government to dismiss Director General Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Waseem Ahmed within a period of three days AAJ TV reported on Tuesday.

The ruling came during the hearing of the Hajj corruption case, while also dismissing the FIA’s report on the case.

During Tuesday’s hearing, Justice Raja Fayyaz said that the FIA was trying to protect the suspects.
