RECORDER REPORT: PSX close of day

KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Monday at 18,112.69 points with a positive change of 95.61 and volume of 31,306,500 shares. High and Low were 18,156.70 and 17,978.43 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 16 were up, 12 were down and 2 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 48,046,080 shares. Total companies traded were 314 of which 155 were positive, 140 were negative and 19 were unchanged.

Vanaspati and Allied Industries was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 13,893,000 shares. It was followed by Commercial Banks with a total traded volume of 5,091,000 shares.
